Blue eyed grass with light striking it at just the right angle.  Some residents claim this as their favorite local wildflower.

A mule's ear flower and leaves.  Note all the small flowers in the center of the overall flower.
Foothill penstemon occurs in dry, sunny locations often near outcroppings of rock.  These were on the spine of Shell Ridge.
Woodland stars are small but flowers.
White nemophilia and pink filaree flowers together.
American vetch is a native plant unlike the purple spring vetch that is an invasive non-native.
Lesley and I have not yet identified this vine with striking yellow flowers.
